By special request from The Constructivist and in advance of this week's Mizuno Classic, here are the Top 20 players of 2008 on the Japanese LPGA Tour:

Fudoh leads the tour in victories with four but her two missed cuts, her less-than-impressive scoring average and sixth-place ranking on the money list leave her in third place here.  Lee has won twice, leads the money list, leads in scoring, leads in Top 10s and has only missed one cut.  Fukushima hasn't missed any cuts and has also won twice but her scoring average isn't as good.  Yokomine ranks #4 despite having no victories (she's the only player in the top 18 without one) but her other numbers indicate a fine season.

These rankings use the same basis as my LPGA system - combining scoring average, money list, victories, Top 10 percentage and missed cuts to determine who is better than whom.
