The first LPGA Sectional Qualifying Tournament (that's one of the preliminary Q-School events for you newbies) is underway in Mission Hills, CA. As the scores come in, you can check results here. Michelle Wie teed off at 11:25 EDT and Stacy Lewis starts at 12:25.
The top 30 plus ties from this four-round event move on the Final Qualifying Tournament in December.

Michelle turned in a fine round. Second best score of the first wave of players. Good for her.

Stacy Lewis
Stacy shot -1, today, and is currently tied for 4th. Solid, if not in the neighborhood of Sun-Ju Ahn, who shot another -6!
