It is obvious that the new administration has turned the old one’s policy on its head – actually accepting reduced purses (in this case down almost 29%) to keep events from drying up. It was also obvious that this change in policy was needed 12 months ago. I can’t stress how much I appreciate the efforts of Marsha Evans, who has completely turned the LPGA’s outlook around in less than two months.
