Hana Bank Championship - 1st Round
Song-Hee Kim and Vicky Hurst are tied for the lead through Round One of the LPGA Hana Bank Championship. Na Yeon Choi and Amy Hung are tied for third one shot behind with eight players tied for fifth, two shots back.
As is often the case in this event, nobody was able to go really low and just 22 of the 74 competitors managed to break par. Playing in cold weather in the first group of the day, Hurst bogeyed only once (the par-5 13th) and she birdied 18 to finish with 68. Kim got to -5 through 15 holes but she took her lone bogey of the day at 16 to finish tied with Vicky. The other notables:

Aside from Ryu, the KLPGA contingent had a rough day. In addition to those I listed above, Ran Hong posted 79, Hyun-Hee Moon totaled 78 while Shin-Ae Ahn and Mirim Lee each carded 76. Not that they were the only ones - Lindsey Wright and Anna Rawson couldn't break 80.
