Wie and Nocera and Kerr
On your last list Wie was ahead of Nocera. Wie skipped the event last week, while Nocera was a miserable T69 in a field of 78. But this week Nocera is ahead of Wie. Meanwhile, Kerr dropped from 2 to 8 after not playing last week. Is your hot list based primarily on who played last week?

I only focus on who finished in the Top 30 every week. If a player finishes 31st, T69, misses the cut or doesn’t play, she gets zero points. That IS unfair to treat all those equally but when I designed this, I was trying to make it as simple as possible to calculate every week. I’m sure that the farther down the list you go, the less accurate each one-by-one position is. It’s a quirk of the system that Nocera scored just barely better than Wie this week while she scored slightly worse last week.
Perhaps I’ll revise it for next year to adjust for those differences but I defintely don’t want to make it too much more complicated.
