Money List Races Recap....um, not just yet....
My recap of the Races for the Top 80, 100 and 125 will have to wait until the LPGA gets their posted money list standings corrected (not to mention fix their entire Stats page). I know it's wrong because they show Helen Alfredsson having moved up from #77 to #66, despite having missed the second-round cut and earning no money at the Tour Championship. Actually, it specifically says Helen moved up from #68 to #66 but we know she was #77 last week, don't we? I'll keep an eye out for the corrected list and post the recap then.
Since I now have nothing better to do this morning, allow me to editorialize for a moment. If I were running somebody's online stat pages and knew I had a grossly incorrect list (or two) posted, I wouldn't leave it up overnight. No, I would insist that the post be rolled back to the previous week's version so that the (presumably) thousands of people and players who would be avidly looking for the update wouldn't see this mess and get the wrong information. I work with databases every day - a rollback is simple. Enough people already think that the LPGA is a second-rate sports organization without some inept or uncaring tech ops guys pitching in to make it worse.

exactly
As of 3:30 Monday afternoon, the incorrect info is gone but none of the stat pages are accessible. Perhaps this failure is more severe than I first believed and a rollback/restore wasn’t possible. Either way, it’s still a major embarrassment.
were they hacked?
Mike Scanlan replied to my email inquiries yesterday late afternoon and said they were working on it even then. How badly can it have been screwed up from inside? Is it possible they were hacked?
