Q-School Finals Begin Tomorrow

The 2010 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament begins tomorrow morning with 120 players teeing off on two courses in Daytona Beach.  All players will have four rounds to get themselves into the Top 70 before they'll be cut for Sunday's final round.  The top 20 finishers will earn Category-11 status for next year which is good for entry into all full-field events.  The next 10 players earn Category-16 status and the 10 players after that earn Category-20, both of which sound good but neither equated to more than a handful of starts for any of their members this year.

The Constructivist has posted a fine preview which lists who to watch for over the next five days so I won't try to top it.  But I will be reporting on the results, as I'm sure he will be.  If you must know who are my favorites to make the Top 20, I'll go with Jennifer Johnson, Jessica Korda and the inimitable Tiffany Joh.

I am Sad that Anna Rawson chose not to go to Q-school. I will miss her cheerful personality on tour.
