Milthorpe Returns As LPGA Executive

I don't usually spend many words on the hiring of Tour executives but this one caught my eye.  Kathryn Milthorpe returns to the LPGA offices on March 1st with the title of Chief Financial Officer.  Milthorpe was an LPGA executive for seventeen years until late 2005 when she announced her resignation.  What prompted her to leave?  Yes, she was one of several executives who departed (willingly or not) in the early days of the Bivens administration.

Since then, Milthorpe had served as Public Affairs Managing Director for International Speedway Corporation (the portion of NASCAR which owns Daytona and Talladega Speedways, among other things) and most recently had worked as a consultant to the Tour (presumably since last summer, eh?).  Welcome back to the fold, Kathy!
