The Associated Press Seems to Think All Asians Are from South Korea Part II Story

The old adage about history repeating itself, certainly applies to its golf coverage. A AP photograph taken last Friday comes with the following caption-

Yani Tseng, of South Korea, hits her tee shot on the 15th hole during the second round of the LPGA Kia Classic golf tournament at La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif. , Friday, March 26, 2010.

At first I thought the Orange County Register was at fault for this, but no its at other websites also.

Last May an Associate Press writer wrote the following-

The LPGA Corning Classic certainly received a memorable farewell.

Just when Yani Tseng seemed headed for a playoff Sunday with fellow South Korean Soo-Yun Kang, Tseng watched in amazement as Kang missed a 3-foot par putt on the final hole.

How long before AP does it again? Maybe we should start a pool.
