State Farm - 3rd Round Suspended

PrintLightning suspended play at 1:44pm CDT today and as of 6pm, they still have not resumed. Not quite half the field (32 players) completed their third rounds but the final group was only on #4 when the horn sounded. Here's how the leaderboard looks at the moment:

34 players are within five shots of the lead, although I wouldn't expect the lead to remain at -13. Kerr was -3 through 4, Nordqvist was -3 through 5 and Pressel was -4 through 12. With about two hours of daylight left, it's possible that they will get a few more holes in but I'm not optimistic as there is still lightning in the vicinity. If that changes, I'll update later tonight.
UPDATE: No more golf today. They will start up again at 7am CDT tomorrow and hope to play all 72 holes.

oh man
that’s funny—I think that when I checked back on W the only day the long-range forecast didn’t show a good chance of thunderstorms was today!
