PrintThe bad news - my favorite player, The Lovely And Talented Grace Park, has withdrawn from the State Farm field. The reason for the WD is unknown to me.
The good news - Cathryn Bristow, a 25-year-old rookie from New Zealand, will be making her first career start as an LPGA member. What's so good about that? Cathryn is a lefty! I believe she is the first left-handed Tour member to start an event since Kelly Lagedrost in September 2006. Good luck Lefty!

the ultimate source on Angela Buzminski trivia is... Angela Buzminski
I saw Angela following her round today. I asked her which LPGA event she started last year. She played the Navistar LPGA Classic in Prattville, Alabama. I had the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am with her Thursday so I knew she had some LPGA starts over the last few years.
I expect this will be the only time I will best HD.

I knew about Buzminski
But had no idea she played at Navistar last year. And to think I almost attended that event – I could have seen a lefty lady in the flesh!
