Apologies for the recent lack of posts.  Last week our family went on vacation to the thankfully still-pristene Florida Gulf Coast so while the ladies took a golfy break, so did I.

Part 2 of Sectional Qualifying begins today in Venice, Florida and runs through Friday.  30 players have already advanced to December's Q-School finals via Part 1, which was held two weeks ago in Palm Springs, California.  Eileen Vargas, Sydnee Michaels, Jessica Korda, Jennifer Johnson, Blair O'Neal and Stephanie Connelly were among those who reserved their spot in the finals.  You can follow the results of this week's qualifier at LPGA.com.

The Navistar Classic begins next Thursday (October 7) and kicks off a six week (!) stretch of events.  Navistar and its follow-up, the CVS, are the last two full-field events on the schedule.  I'll have a post out later this week of the players who are "on the bubble" for each status level for 2011.
