that's why I worded it the way I did ("qualified" as opposed to "playing")
As of Tues am, I still haven’t seen a list of who’s actually playing. I already knew about Shin but she wasn’t in the Hot 20. Will the event’s inaugural actually be missing over 10% of its qualifiers?
According to Mostly Harmless...
Ji Yai Shin isn’t playing this week either. Is she playing a JLPGA event this weekend since she is close to the bubble on their money list and appearances or is she just shutting it down for the season after finishing in Asia.
According to RB at Pro Golf Talk U.S. Women’s Open Champion So Yeon Ryu, Inbee Park and Grace Park will not compete either.
The Golf Channel broadcast of the Ochoa also pointed out that Julie Inkster had a bad wrist and might not play.
The Round 1 pairings are up at LPGA.com
The players previously mentioned in other comments are not playing. Inkster do not appear in the pairings or Final Field lists, so we can assume that she has withdrawn.
